Finding a friend

Darcie Pickren-Fleet gives instructions to residents forming a search party to find Elk Rapids resident Anne Avery on Sunday, Jan. 27. The party split into several groups that searched north and south of Elk Rapids as well as in the village itself. Avery has been missing from her home since Jan. 22. ÒThere is a person out there missing and if it was your daughter, your sister, your mother, your friend, I believe that you would do anything possible to find her,Ó Pickren-Fleet said.
