Margaret used to play piano on the Bob-Lo Boat and was an active member of the choir at Ward Memorial Presbyterian Church in Detroit until she moved to Elk Rapids in 1990. Margaret enjoyed gardening, music, reading, singing, and she loved living in Elk Rapids.

Margaret died on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, at 101 years old. She is survived by her children, 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband and son-inlaw, Ray Marsh.

A private family funeral will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to Grand Traverse Pavilions. Arrangements were entrusted to Covell Funeral Home.
