At a regular board of trustees meeting March 20, the board accepted the recommendation of a lights and sidewalk committee for the location of 16 decorative lights to be staggered on both sides of Rapid City Road from the post office two blacks down to Miller's Antiques.

Trustee Bruce Belanger inquired about the cobra-head lights already placed on the road, and their removal was discussed. The new decorative lights are planned to be delivered mid-April. The date of their installation by Consumers Energy is pending.

In related action, the board approved up to $17,045 of monies from the public improvement fund to go toward completing sidewalk installation along the same area. RKB Concrete Services has been selected to complete the job. '
